Dear Ex-Dartingtonian, Aren't we all?!
This new domain will now be the permanent home of the Dartington Hall School web pages.

There are now over 2000 names on the school database. That makes a good link for the next reunion, April 1st 2005, Trafalgar Square. The first Saturday in the month. Well it would be the first wouldn't it? 12 noon. To help organize this sort of event we need dates of birth for everyone. It is no longer feasible to use snail mail but by 2005 there should be enough on email to circulate details and word of mouth for the rest. There are 1400 of you that we don't have an OFFICIAL date of birth for and I've listed them here. If you know the DOB of one of these, please let me know. If you have a good idea, let me know that too. Once we have that information we'll be well on the way. Don't be shy. I was 5 years older than everyone else in my group but I learnt how to read eventually! Some problems will arise. Where do teachers go? Is this when we find out who teachers pet is? That's life! Do you want to see some Vikings? Maybe you know some of them. Art work by Frances Astor, a picture of the Cott or the Hall? Do you have a picture I could put on that others might enjoy?

Mary Logie, as was, now Maria Suffolk in Australia, just sent some great pictures from the 50's

Does anyone know how many people were at the school in total? Educated guesses? To have such a large proportion at the 96 reunion was remarkable. All generations seemed to be well supported although it was not always easy to recognise your friends after 40 years (or more!). As an example look at the football team of 61-62 then look at them now! Didn't your parents tell you to study more and not spend so much time playing games! They were right weren't they? Thanks to Roger Haworth for sending them in.

I have put some pictures here of the 1996 reunion but there are also a few from the fifties that I found after I got back. And a few more. If you have some that you think others would enjoy and can send me a copy(!) I'll try and put them on as well.
